Scene 1:

Location: Asad’s residence

Asad finishes what he started, (MITWA MOMENT) amidst zoya’s joyous confusion. he goes on to say…I… and then musters up the courage to say LOVE YOU….. but a terrified scream yet again, interrupts him, and he rushes to search fotanveer. Zoya too searches. Zoya finds a silhouette, walking past, and then runs after her. Tanveer, in the hood, is scared that her gig might be up. She runs to the fence, and then as Zoya catches up on her, she gives hera jerk, and runs off. Zoya finds an earring on the ground, and she keeps it and starts looking around. Asad searches in the house.

In the room, zoya is searching around for something, when asad comes and asks where had he gone. She tells him that she just saw someone, and she’s pretty sure of that. Asad gets tensed and also starts searching around. He then sudenly has a thought, if tanveer is fine, and where is she. Zoya is also startled hearing this, and they both begin to look around. They hear a noise in the backyard and they rush up after her. They fin d tanveer lying on the ground, and they rush to her. tanveer screams and says that the person had come to kidnap her, and she got scared, and came to hide here, and in her nervousness, she and threw everything around, and spoiled their evening. asad says that its okay and whats important is that she’s okay now.

As they seat her in the bed, zoya asks her who attacked her, and then her eyes go on the missing earring in her ear. She looks at asad. As asad cajoles tanveer, zoya finds an earring missing from tanveer’s ear, and she asks where is it. Asad reprimands her for being so callous as to being worried about the earing at this sensitive time. She says thats because she has the other one, and shows it. Tanveer is shocked while asad is confused and surprised. She told asad what she saw, and how she found the earring. She said that the person was running with great vigour, but how can it be that one earring is with her, and the other with the person who attacked her. Tanveer says that maybe in scuffle it got latched on to his clothes. Zoya demands for a plausible explanation for this. Tanveer asks if she thinks that she’s lying. Zoya says that this isnt the case and that this is just odd. As tanveer continues to protest her innocence, asad asks zoya to go and get a glass of water. After zoya leaves, Tanveer says that she can take an oath that she didnt know when the earring disapperaed. asad says that she indeed is lying. Tanveer is shocked. She again takes an oath. Asad stands stoical, and says that to hide the truth, is also lying.

Location: Ayan’s residence

As they all gather at the dining table, Razia calls up someone and asks her to come. As humaira asks her to rest, razia says that she had gotten bored, and hence came here for some family time.

Haseena comes in, with Imran very angry, saying that nikhat shouldnt do any mannerisms, as her true personality is out for everyone to see. They are all shocked to see haseena so angry. She said that today there would be a descision, and she would ask Rashid and shirin as to why their children are so ill mannered. badi bi asks what happened. Imran asks her to stop but she doesnt. She goes on to show the video, reprimanding her for such shamelessness. Badi bi says that this is just a family function. But haseena says that there are lots of other things that happen behind closed doors, and if in her opinion, they should also be on the net. Razia smirks at such insult. haseena tells them that they had gone to Aasd’s place, whose mother has been accused of stealing their father, after he left her 17 years ago.

Ayan reprimands her for talking like this, as asad is after all his brother, and hence they went to that function. Haseena says that they were told that there’s no relation between them, and now its all a false. Haseena calls her a nachne waali and a Kothe wali aurat. this shocks ayan and everyone else. razia pretends to feign shock, as haseena goes on to say that they wont let their ancestral property be turned in to a Kotha.

Ayan asks her to stop, as which mannered people call their own daughter in law, by such insulting words. He reprimands haseena and imran too for being asilent spectator to his would be wife’s insult. as haseena tries to speak, ayan stops her saying that she has already insulted, and he too has a limit, and it would be better if she doesnt cross that limit. Haseena leaves fuming. Razia is very happy, thinking that she finally got success in her plan as if nikhat is tortured then ayan would be in pain, and then she would play her cards, and say tp ayan, that all of this would stop if he marries humaira.

Location: Asad’s residence

Tanveer talks to asad, remembering old times, when they were young. They discuss how he got named jammy. Tanveer says that sometimes he feels that if she hadnt gone, then she would have been more than a friend. He gets awkward and says that she still is, and she’s her best friend. tanveer is dissatisfied and continues with her plan. Tanveer reminds how they were presumed to get married when they got old, and she wonders that if she hadnt left, then maybe she would have been instead of zoya today. Asad gets increasingly uncomfortable and startled, and tanveer changes the topic saying that she was just joking. Asad excuyses himself for being sleepy and goes off. Tanveer smirks evilly.

Zoya’s sister sits down with asad at the dining table. she says that she went to talk to zoya, for lack of sleep on her part but she isnt saying anything. She is very quiet and is crying too, and that his words had hurt zoya too. Asad says that he knows that she’s upset fopr zoya, but she too needs to understand. Asad tries to justify his anger on her, and how immature she is, and that he never meant to hurt zoya. She says that zoya did upset him. As asad begins to leave, zoya’s sister tells him, how zoya is always afraid of fire, as she was a witness to her mother’s death also in fire, and hence the incident may have faded away, but the horror still remains. Asad is very hurt and tearful, hearing this. She tells him that zoya is very scared, and always kept saying to save her mother, when she had adopted zoya, as a child. Asad is reminded how zoya had mentioned her fear of fire. She tells him that whatever zoya did, she didnt do it intentionally. Tanveer hearing all this, from behind the pillar, is very tensed.
